Question Recommendation for dehumidifier that will not fail if temperature freezes

I live in Seattle WA and I have a pop-top camper van.

If you do not know, it rains here a lot in the winter, so the moisture content in my Sportsmobile van can get high, recorded at +80%. And also during the winter, the temperature in the van at night can drop below freezing but rarely below 25 degrees Fahrenheit.

I had purchased (2) Eva-dry Edv-1100 dehumidifier, and both failed after being exposed to freezing:
https://www.eva-dry.com/dehumidifier...-dehumidifier/

The Eva-dry Edv-1100 is probably a great dehumidifier in much warmer climates, however, it just stops working completely without recovery if it is on and exposed to freezing temperatures.

This dehumidifier did remove the moisture when outside temperature was above freezing. However, when the temperature is below freezing the Eva-dry Edv-1100 stops working and never works again. I would bring it into the house to unthaw because the moisture vent is completely frozen over and that does not help in making it operational again.

Neither the Eva-dry website nor does the dehumidifier box of the Eva-dry Edv-1100 indicate temperature restrictions.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a compact dehumidifier that will not completely fail if the temperature drops below freezing?

I can easily run an extension cord to the van to run the dehumidifier off of house electricity.

I've always put a dehumidifier in my bass boat with the boat cover on after an outing to dry both the boat and the cover after fishing in wet weather. I got mine at West Marine.

I live in Oregon City and get winter wetness as well. Have used a product called Dir-Z-Air to keep humidity in the van at reasonable levels. It consists of a plastic container and white replaceable crystals that absorb the moisture in the air and dissolve into a salty brine.

I've run two different dehumidifires on my boat in Alaska, over the winter too. They were both the type with compressors. Once the temps drop below freezing, they stop working as they ice up, but as it warms back up they start working again. Both were purchaced at Sears. Something like this. Sears.com
