Replacing 2006 lights

Hey all I just pickup up a 2006 Sportsmobile in perfect condition. I want to do a few upgrades but first comes first I need some LED lights and not these as I only have a 100 amp hour battery. Anyone have nice replacements for these fixtures.

The cheapest and easiest is to replace just the bulbs with LEDs.
https://www.amazon.com/GRV-Ba15s-Pow...12%2Bvolt&th=1

If you buy the above replacements, make sure you get the 'warm white' LEDs with emitters at the end of the light as well as on the sides.

I haven't converted my fluorescent lights to LED yet but there are some nice kits that aren't too expensive.

There are numerous threads here about converting the penthouse ceiling fixtures to LED.......try the search feature.

I did mine with LEDs from Superbriteleds.com

Did you get this out of Kansas City? I was looking pretty hard at that one. Looks great.

these are the bulbs I bought. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

A little cheaper than the ones above but probably the same thing. They make a huge difference.

For the reading lamps, I second the suggestion to replace the bulbs with LED bulbs of the same type. I think they're a common brake or reverse light bulb. The previous owner of my van did this and it works great.

Anyone have any suggestions for replacing the actual reading light fixture? One of mine had a meltdown and is no longer functional.

To the OP, yeah, all you need are new bulbs. My meltdown was caused by a wiring short.

The 'Sportsmobile Store' on the Sportsmobile website sold reading light replacement fixtures for ~$15.
I'm not seeing them offered on their site now tho. Try giving SMB a call, maybe they still have some in stock?

So I can't find a good thread about replacing the penthouse light that is more recent than 10 years old. I'll prob just buy a nice new 12v fixture and give it a crack. I'd like to try a dimmable LED that also does color change for fun. Anyone know a good one?
