Shipping sportsmobile to kauai and registration?

Hello there folks
I have a good old classic 94 SMB which I have had for many years and live in CA .I want to take it to kauai for a 6 month stint of camping and then sell it over there when I am done [ if I get done of course I could be there for a lot longer! ]

Anyway I Know for sure that RV's are not allowed to be registared there, they need a vehicle inspection before you go the dmv which can be done at any gas station and they are pretty easy at the dmv and dont need to inspect the vehicle,[ a freind of mine took his jeep ]

but on my pinky it says

automobile

body type model MH.......any ideas what this means?

year 1st sold 1994

class BX...........any ideas what this means?

year 2007

mo NW

Just wondering if anyone might have any insight or advice on this adventure

Mh might be motorhome
Class bx might be class b style and x for off road? Not positive but maybe. I'm sure some Hawaiian native would love to call your SMB home. Good luck. Any idea on the cost for that? (biting nails)...

Thanks for the reply, I was trying to find the dmv classifications online but couldnt find anything, another freind of min just got back from the big island and did see a SMB over there on the beach so I think it must be possible,
I dont know if its possible to change the classification at the DMV if I wanted to go that route?
I have got the shipping quotes for 700-1000 which is'nt to bad,

Is there anybody on here out there in Hawai with a SMB?
