Slider Window Size and Make Maybe Awning Style Size and Make
Can someone tell me what the size their Slider Window is? I have found two windows that seem to come close the right size.
Are they CR Lawrence Windows?
From the CR Lawrence online Catalog they are:
VW60212 33-3/4"(W) X 15-1/2"(H) and
VW60222 33-3/4"(W) X 17-5/16"(H)
Thank you for any help!

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Unless you're going in a fixed top side, why wouldn't you have room for the 17 5/16" one?

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Not for a fixed top.
I guess I was trying to copy what has already been done. I like the proportions of the smaller window in the side. But I don't think a couple of inches would matter. Maybe bigger is better!
I'm also a little concerned for the fact they're not model specific like most CRL Windows. The window is listed under "Universal Fit", and they're contoured. This would be the first time I've purchased and installed one of these and wanted to make sure the window was close to what has been done before.
Thanks for the input,
Doug

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
That picture looks like the windows SMB installed in my van. But, mine measure ~16x42 and they are not contoured, but flat. I don't see a window of that size listed at the CRL site.
Why don't you call SMB and ask them what windows they use. Usually they are good about answering questions, and SMB Indiana has always been willing to sell me parts like that at reasonable prices.

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Thanks Mike I will call them. I just remembered the design tool they(Sportsmobile)have on their website. And the style of window that I mentioned earlier is listed in an 18", 30", 42", and 60", all 15" high. I was thinking in the 30" range for behind the Drivers side Door. I don't plan on putting windows in towards the rear, cargo area of my van for now.
More input is welcomed, Thanks,
Doug

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Thanks Ron, That looks like about the same spot I want to put the window. Thanks for including the picture.
I think my next step will be cutting out some cardboard in a couple different lengths, 15"-17"high, and putting it in the same spot, behind the drivers door.
Ron, does your window have a screen?

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
While you are still making your considerations you might also consider the Awning Windows of the approximate same dimensions especially if you plan on camping in inclement weather . they allow for very adequate use even in a good rain .

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Greggde, Are you talking about the all glass look style window? Would this be something I could only get from Sportmobile?

Re: Slider Window Size and Make
Awning as in the side window behind the barn doors here, the glass open protects the screen:
