Spare tire license plate holder

Does anyone know where I can get a license plate holder that will mount inside my spare rear tire?
I need to relocate mine as I just mounted an aluminess lock box and plate is obscured
Any ideas on where to best relocate it.

The bumper comes to mind, but it's so obvious I guess that won't work for you? Both the spare tire and the back of the Aluminess box will work, but don't forget, ya got to run 12v for a light. That's why a non moving mount like the bumper is so nice.

Re: Spare tire license plate holder

I mounted mine on the bumper under the spare tire. My "trash-a-ru" (excuse spelling) hangs so the license is obscured a little once in a while but no problem so far.

Mine is on the Aluminess rear bumper face, center with a light. I guess all Aluminess don't come with that?

Re: Spare tire license plate holder

I'm moving mine to the left (under the tire) on the aluminess. This way its still visible when the Trash-a-roo is on as well.
Its currently in the center but as a cop told me in Arizona (after getting stopped for speeding), its obscured when the bike rack is on. He mentioned that Colorado has the same rule about the plate being visible.

Re: Spare tire license plate holder

Thanks. I'll put it on the bumper. Easier to mount a light as I might buy a spare tire bike rack in near future
