Storing a SM indoors

Any ideas on if I should store the top up or down when its in my garage between trips? Its a controlled environment, just not sure which is best for the fabric.
Thanks!

Any time you can store a fabric non folded it is better for it in the long run.

It also keeps it aired out inside. I strongly recommend keeping it up if you have the space.

I would consider two things. First, is the canvas damp? Second, are the scissor lift springs in a state of rest? No sense stressing springs when you don't need to.

I just wish I even had this dilemma. Totally jealous.
