Thinking of selling my van

New to the forum. I had a look around, very cool place. I wish I had found this earlier. Anyway, I wanted to ask advice on the best places to list my van for sale. I'm sad to see it go, but having a new daughter is taking a heavy toll on our adventuring and we have to raise some funds for a mini-van. (I know, please dont shame me....)
My first thought is to list on the SMB website but I know it costs a fair amount. I was nervous about craigslist because well it's craigslist. Your thoughts are much appreciated.
Info: I am in southern california and I have a 2wd RB E-250.

You could post it on this site.

Re: Thinking of selling my van

I would recommend posting it both here and Craig's List. That covers you for both aficionados (SMB Forum) and the broader public (CL). Plus, both are free. If neither works, then turn to the SMB site. eBay is also used, but again, not free.

Re: Thinking of selling my van

I found my van on Craigslist, so I suggest you post it there and here. Good luck. Make sure you add pictures of your rig.

Thinking of selling my van

Whatever you do, dont buy a mini van. Sure they are small and look handy, but a couple of years from now and possibly a couple more kids and that van will look, well, mini. Buy the 12 passenger E350 now, pull the back rows out when you need to and you will have a vehicle for all the "raising a family" years. The 2008 and up models actually have very good anchors for child seats/ booster seats.

Re: Thinking of selling my van

We have both. 06 E350 RB and 04 Toyota Sienna minivan. Used minivans aren't that expensive. As I get older I've come to regret vehicles that I've owned but later sold. IMHO, you should try to keep your van.
