Re: Torn Penthouse Window

For cleaning plastic windows, I love using Plexus.

Re: Torn Penthouse Window

Herb ,
is correct , Plexus is one of the least caustic and non abrasive cleaner conditioners ! For scratches/ chafe marks and cloudiness I am now using Meguiars Plastx which has a little higher abrasion index than the Plexus . I also clean all of my plastic head and tail light lens with the Plastx product and finish with a good coat of Rain X . This is also how I condition my Solar panel after washing . A good rule of thumb is to try a small amount of any new product in an unobtrusive area that you will be cleaning to check for compliance with the material being cleaned . As little as 15 years ago there were many very different formulas for the making of clear Vinyl for the Marine and Automotive markets . With regard to Pledge I have never tried it on any Vinyl windows but use it on Rods , Reels High grade Guns and interior surfaces in the SportsMobile .
