[QUOTE=, I have my old one which is perfectly serviceable, with just a small tear at the corner, quite a bit of fadeing, and a lot of hard earned dust covering it. It's free to the first person who will pick it up, I don't want to ship it. I'm in Northern Washington at the moment, but will be on the road off and on for the next couple months. I could possibly meet up and deliver somewhere along the way if I'm passing by.[/QUOTE]

I had a taker for this, but I had to ship it, which I decided to do, but when I took it in, I was told it would be $25 to send across the country, which is more than I was willing to spend to give it away for free. I hate to throw it out though, so I'll re-post my offer and may ship if the cost is less. Or, someone can still pick it up for free.

Last US Bag Company spare tire bag

I looked at all the alternatives and decided to go with this one, mainly because the size and shape fit the spot I wanted to mount it. Our spare is in the OEM position so I decided to mount the trash bag directly to the rear passenger side door.

The Last US bag is super heavy duty. They added grommets for my mounting screws no charge, although they warned me it could tear out. The bag is made from heavy truck tarp material, so with 4 grommets holding the weight I'm not worried.

I used threaded aluminum blind nuts from Summit Racing. I want to be able to remove the bag without tearing apart the door panel. I used red loctite on the inner threads of the blind nuts, and used silicone on the outside of the blind nuts and on the stainless screw.

Disassemble door to access interior. I could have used Rivnuts but I wanted to check for interference first anyhow.

Followup report... This bag has worked quite well for us, although we seldom use it for trash! We keep our barn door step in it, and add firewood when needed. The top flap has a mesh pocket where we store a collapsing snow shovel. We store our folding saw and marshmallow skewers in the side pockets.

The only gripe is it has a drawstring closure on top as well as the flap. The drawstring is a PITA to operate and gets in the way of loading and unloading.

That's pretty cool. I wouldn't be excited about modifying the door to hold it, but that'd be killer on a swingout.

Yes it is frightening to drill holes in the van! We really like the convenience of opening the right side door without moving a swingarm first. Not to mention the cost of another swingarm.

I really like the Oscar's Mobile Hideout. I've had one for almost a year and it has worked great for me.

We sat for quite awhile one day watching the birds eat the garbage out of a Trasharoo on another RV. It was fascinating to watch them fly and crawl in through the side of the top cover and haul out scraps. It didn't take them long to figure that thing out and it looked like it was secured exactly how it was intended. I had always thought of buying one but after that I wouldn't use it for garbage.

$50
Had it mounted since June 2021
I over load it ;-)
Some sun fade,
I would purchase again

My trasharoos all disintegrated,
they replaced 2 then stopped responding to my emails
