Valuation opinions, 2005 quadvan chateau...

Just wanted opinions on what a particular van might be worth, or i should say would sell for. Its a 2005 e350 rb quadvan chateau passenger van with updated 2008 and up front clip.
5.4 gas, 84 k miles, well maintained and overall good condition. needs some paint/clearcoat work on the hood but otherwise paint and body in good shape.
Just curious on what you guys think it may be worth, as I'm contemplating putting a pop top and interior build into it.
thanks

I would say probably high $20k range. I looked at a similar one: 1998 RB advanced track 4x4 with 350k miles and they wanted $20k. Yours sounds better. That said, a guy in South Dakota has had his v10 ujoint 4x4 for sale at $25k for nearly 6 months and he still has it.

Nevermind, it’s been 9 months. If you want to sell fast, low $20s probably. I’d keep it and have the interior built. The cost is probably a wash.

thanks for the input! i liked the link there to that one. i suppose i wonder what econoline smb values will do in the future in general. I'm sure this topic has been discussed a lot in the recent past with all the new van platforms out there. think i'm going to press on with my conversion plans. the plan is to kit this one out a bit, enjoy using it, and then sell it in about 5 years to move over to a sprinter or transit full camper when our kids are out of the house.

if you are doing hardcore off roading, the Econoline can't be beat. However, if you are always on the highway with occasional snow driving, a sprinter or transit will drive much nicer than an Econoline.

If this were a cargo van instead of a passenger van, I bet it would have sold by now. Much easier to convert a cargo van into a camper.

Regardless, I'm surprised this one hasn't sold.
