Learned something new! I knew about the 5.7, it was everywhere in trucks and Suburbans at etc and the 8.1, but I didn’t know they made a 5.0.

SnowridingLongliner - The AWD Chevy's seem to hold up pretty well. It's a relatively light duty driveline as others have stated. They have adequate power from the 5.3.

You mentioned camping with kids. I'm always a little wary of those convertible bench seats. If you need child seats makes sure you look at that a little closer. It looks to have 3 point belts which is good, but verify the seat mounting is solid as well.

It has a lot of nice and expensive add ons. It also has a big price tag. It might be worth that asking price, but that's up to you to decide. I don't think you could replicate it for that money starting from a base van. Good luck!

It was much more commonly known as the 305.

It is a 5.0L V8 model. Many shops questioned it until they saw the stickers in the engine compartment. It isn't a monster but has enough power for my needs.
