Saw a Ready Weld demo at Expo East. Very cool non-sanctioned usage of a pair of Antigravity Batteries, the small jump start kind (XP-1). Works very well.
For us we want to get our build completed. Lots to get done before we start our trip.
Looks like a great tool but I wonder what means "12V battery can do thin sheet metal". It would be useful tu be able to weld at least a 1/4'' thick part plugged on van batteries.
For me, some nice light and sky on Christmas day would be great !

You hook the batteries in series, so two batteries is 24 V which can weld up to 1/2 inch, and three batteries would be 36 V which apparently can weld up to 3/4 of an inch.
