I bought the 1997 E-350 passenger van new in 1997. Mostly used as a toy hauler (windsurfing, kiteboarding, mountain biking). It just hit 115K miles and I recently did plugs, fuel injectors, radiator, water pump, serpentine belt. It has been very reliable and held up well. I have an older 1978 21ft Class C Dodge Sportswagon 440 (65K miles). It has been significantly rebuilt over the years for making trips to Baja. However, the Econoline is 20 years newer, gets 14-18 MPG vs. 5-8 MPG; looking at options to turn the E-350 into a camper van.
