Aluminess rack for sale soon Morgan Hill CA

So, I've scheduled my penthouse install for next month but my current aluminess roof rack won't fit. Its a 2013 E350 RB, double loop rack with the close slats.
Two questions, Whats it worth ( 1 year old, not a scratch one it) and can it be narrowed to fit the penthouse?

I thought Aluminess can change the mounts on the racks to the type needed to mount on a penthouse.

The penthouse version is 3" narrower I've been told. SMB says I need to get a new one.

If the penthouse is 3" narrower, then it seems like you could pretty easily make some 1.5" spacers (and 1.5" longer mounting bolts) for each side of your current rack's mounting tabs and get it to fit.

SMB will add a top to a used E350? Did I miss something?

Hi Buddy, I am interested for sure I just posted today I need an Aluminess rack. I have a 2008 Ford e350 SMB van and a fabrication shop that could make it fit. Please pm me and let me know how much you’re asking please.

Dickie, They are doing the installs here in Fresno, SMB West. Takes only two days.

Jdkh, Aluminess told me I should be able to get close to what I paid since the prices have increased and the lead times are past 8 weeks now. I need to see what it cost me a year ago.

Hi gmeyer4. Take a look at my post "terrible fitting penthouse top". I'm sure this doesn't happen to everyone, but it's been explained to me that the Ford E series molds come to them defected. Not sure if this is something they have begun to address by trimming the defected molds, or just continue to throw them on customers vans? So just a heads up, when theyre done really take a look around to decide if you're happy with the end product before driving away

Thank you I’ll continue to look local
