Nice rig! Thx for sharing the details,I’m digging those hood brackets for pod lights, are those off the shelf or custom? The tow mirrors look great, are those pain to swap out or simple?does that 30” Baja Design’s light have two switches, one for amber and one for white or you just changed the lense out for that section? If it’s all 0n at the same time how do you like two different colors being thrown forward? Let me know if it’s cool join in one of your future rides,I got an 0/7 f150 4x4,thx Gustav

Gustav,

The pillar brackets are available through Vantage Optics and work great for peripheral/ditch lighting needs.

The tow mirrors are easy for 2004-newer vans as they already have the correct mounts, but the 92-03 versions simply need one post removed and the others opened up a little. Not too bad of an install, but you will need time and a stepped drill bit and a few beers to wrap it up.

The BD light bar has one switch to control both the amber and white portions....I had the amber on in this version but have changed it out for all clear spot lenses for more high speed vision. The two colors work ok together, but I had the ambers on primarily for daytime use so others could see us better.

We will for sure need to do an outing, hit me up via email at stredbull18@gmail.com or through Vantage Optics at vantageoptics@gmail.com
