Re: Rock sliders
After a minor accident on my body/rocker mounted side steps, I put some custom made frame welded sliders on my 2000 EB Quigley 4x4. It was tricky to fit them around the house battery, propane tank...

Re: 7.3 and Hills
Hey Guys - I'm replying late on this thread, but thought I'd share my experience with DP, exhaust, trans temp and EGT's. Under the advice of a good friend/mechanic, I went with a 3.5" downpipe off...

Re: Snow and Ice....
I run a second set of wheels for snow/ice with Blizzak W965 tires (265/75-16 load E). They stick like glue on snow and ice without needing studs. I've passed Subaru's going uphill.
The Blizzaks...

Re: How to level out the rear of my Quigley?
I did something similar to my Quigley front end. For the rear, I went with Deaver leaf springs tailored for my van based on it's measured weight on each axle. It cost more than an add-a-leaf...

Re: 3.55 for 7.3L or...?
My 7.3PSD E350 Quigley 4x4 with 295/75/16 tires (closer to 33.5") is running 3.55 gears. I use it to pull a loaded horse trailer, do flat road trips, and crawl up class 3 trails. What makes it run...

Re: Quigley sway bar front axle bushings
Glad I checked with Quigley. They gave me different Moog part #'s for my 2000 E350 4x4. They told me I need to get K8645 and K8689. The downside is that K8645 is only available in Elastomer (rubber),...

Re: Quigley sway bar front axle bushings
I also have a 2000 Quigley E350 (SMB EB50). The front sway bar bushings look pretty beat and I'm getting more front sway nowadays. I'd like to replace the bushings, and really appreciate this info in...

Re: Toyo AT2 295/75/16 - anyone??
FYI for those interested.
I mounted Toyo AT2 295/75/16 XT on my 2000 EB50 with Quigley suspension. I was replacing BFG T/A KO's of the same size (295's). The van has Super Spring SSC31 front...

Re: 2wd e350 - What is the BEST Winter Tires?
I have the W965 Blizzaks. They're smaller than my BFG's (265 vs 295) but the snow/ice traction is awesome! I hardly ever use 4x4 for plowed roads. I pass Subaru's and Audi's going up the hill...

Re: Recommended 4x4 Service in Bay Area?
Troy at Superior Four Wheel Drive in San Jose knows his stuff. He's been working on my 2000 EB50 PSD Quigley 4x4. He's rebuilt the front hubs/bearings twice (he's a Warn dealer) and he's done the...

Re: Rear Dana 60 pinion bearing issue
It looks like the main culprit on this one is the Dana factory. The pre-load on the pinion was not set correctly - just a bit too loose. It took four attempts to get the new pinion bearings/shaft...

Just note that leaving the hubs locked will spin the front axle. So make sure you keep up with servicing the front differential fluids and the front hubs - both will go hotter and experience more...
