yup, but it's only surface rust. My theory is they ran a/c inside the van and created condensation when it was sitting on job sites.

A few screws missing under there too.....

The brackets are reinforced on the underside with 1/4"x2" steel that is undercoated for protection. I braced the steel over top the lip of the cross frame...

Addressing the internal rust. Cleaning up the bubbles and mud, I found some light surface rust underneath. Just taking the wire brush and sandpaper to it all, then I will hit it with rust...
