Re: Shore power not connecting

Sounds like the AC coming in has been opened up but there is a reset toggle on the unit itself. I'd try that first. Is it possible that was turned off by the shop? I also noticed SMB used romex wire...

Shore power not connecting

Need some help figuring out why my shore power won't connect.
I'm guessing it has something to do with inverter(Xantrex).
Is there something I need to reset on the inverter?
Help appreciated.

StarCool fan needs to come out.

My StarCool fan assembly needs to be replaced. I've taken out the back seat but it looks like the hoses need to be pulled too. Anyone had experience with this?

Re: StarCool is not cooling.

It's a small black relay with a whimpy peg button on top? I've tried resetting that but with no luck.
Would there be some other fuse I should be looking at?

I replaced the Van batteries with 2 platinum Die Hards and everything is charging better.

Re: Star Cool drains house battery while driving

They said that the alternator started charging but then shut off. They replaced the wire and it seem like everything is working now but It still does not charge enough.

Re: Star Cool drains house battery while driving

Went to SMB Austin and they found a wire from the alternator to the separator that was bad. We think this was the problem. We'll keep you posted.

How much to put a 200amp alternator on the Ford350 Diesel? Also did you have to upgrade your isolator and any wiring?

I bought my SMB used and it did not have a volt meter. I'll try to find one at an auto supply.

Aux. gas tank on Ford 350

Just got a used 2006 Ford diesel 350. My gas gauge looks like it only shows 1/2 of what's in the tank when it's below 1/4.
