Generally speaking 99% of SMBs wont need that kind of pulling power. A 16.5 winch needs to be mounted feet first. Ya, you might not pull the drum out the first time. But on the 3rd or 4th BAM.......

I really like the Husky... gear driven and not so heavy. but it is hard to fit, I built the tube bumper just for the Husky...

I installed a Husky winch in my bumper. Nothing lines up or fits. I hacked up the bumper,so I sold it cheap. Did not like it any way, it blocked too much airflow. My tube bumper works very well.

Diesel vans run hot.

I had the fan motor replaced last week, still runs hot.

215 degrees

225 degrees sometimes.

V-10 by far.. A lot less weight, faster, quiet, 6000.00 less...Its a no brainer for me.

Next time its a v-10 for me..

A lot of people over stress their SMBS in the tough stuff.

I like the Salem/Kroger set up ....

I have two Honda 2000s, hooked together they run the air and everything else. They both fit on the back of the bumper. I like having two, cause I can handle them easily.

Just a comment.. All my tie-rod and drag link ball joints, especially the pitman arm, were loose after 8000 miles. After I tightened them up, the front end was a lot tighter.
