Re: Thoughts on new GM van with Lifted IFS 4x4 by Quigley

Very durable. Look at some of the videos Quigley posted last year of them pre-running the Baja.

Re: Agile or Ujoint

My 4x4 Quigley is no better over washboard. Nice and slow is the only way to go if you want to avoid rattles.

Re: Trying to figure out new wheels/tires

My guess is the bolt pattern on the wheels is changed from standard E Series to F Series to accommodate the front axle, which are almost always out of an F Series.

Re: Trying to figure out new wheels/tires

I would find out what 8 bolt Super Duty Ford F Series wheels were available for your model year. I don't think it says what year your van is. Pick up a set of four on CL or Ebay. Buy some tires. More...

If the shit hits the fan you're not going anywhere. Roads will be closed. Shelter in place. Stay home.

Re: My BF Goodrich MT KM2's gave up and separated.

After I bought these tires, not the first set of not cheap tires from BFG, they reduced the rebated from $75 to $70!!!

After I gave them a good review, publicized the tires, and they short me $5...

Re: My BF Goodrich MT KM2's gave up and separated.

I drove 1100 miles in the last few days to the Grand Canyon and back. First time ever over 300 miles per tank. (31 Gallons) Probably could do 325 miles, maybe more on flat ground. 275/70 is a sweet...

Re: My BF Goodrich MT KM2's gave up and separated.

So you got 40k out of the Hankooks and 40k out of the BFG? :a2:

Still I'd rather have a tire go bald in 20 than separate after 30 with all the tread left.[/quote]

Hankooks, Nitto, BFG-KM2,...

Re: My BF Goodrich MT KM2's gave up and separated.

I went with 275/70 17 in the newer BFG KO2. Cheaper than 265 or 285. Go figure.
