1991 E250 For Sale-Seattle Area $6000

1991 Blue E250. I bought it in February of this year and my life kind of went crazy so I went to sell it and make room in the driveway.

Re: Sportsmobile realistic for family of five on a teacher s

Tim-
Don't know about the kids. But the two of us haul around our 5 dogs (2 big, 3 little) alright in ours.

I bought it in Feb for $7500. It's a 1991 2WD with the poptop, dinette and kitchen set...

Re: Tires-Non 4x4

Got the Open Country H/T and a few brake items replaced at the same time. Turns out two of the tires I had were showing signs of dry rot. So it makes me feel better (and poorer) in the decision I...

Re: Tires-Non 4x4

Wow! Thanks for all the information.

I think I'm going to go with the Open Country H/T (as opposed to the A/T). Most of my driving should be on paved roads with maybe a little dirt/gravel road...

Tires-Non 4x4

I recently bought a 91 Ford based SMB. I'm nearly done making my little tweaks and now it's time to put tires on it.

The current tires were made in July 2003. Even though the tread looks excellent...

MSN Autos Sportsmobile-Fuso Chassis?

Maybe I missed something but I found this interesting. Thought that Sportsmobile was going to use the new Ford frames but it doesn't sound like it here.

Re: Bathrooms...

Thanks. As I suspected it's about space/utilization/weight.

I'm going to look into the Thetford Curve and a few others that were linked in the other thread.

As an offshoot question since it...

Bathrooms...

I will preface this with I'm a girl and so I know that I don't understand this.

What's the deal with bathrooms in Sportsmobiles? Even though I just bought one I still look at the ads regularly. It...

Re: 1991 E250 needing a few small changes

I had a tech looking at some other stuff and he asked what I backed into. Didn't even notice it until he said something. Then it was very obvious.

Re: 1991 E250 needing a few small changes

Figured out the source of the leak! Appears that the van was backed into something with the doors open as they are just a little out of alignment.

I did check the seals, there was one that looked...

Re: 1991 E250 needing a few small changes

Thanks Dave. Did a search for all the roof leaks (and various other combinations) on these forums and it gave me some ideas on what to check for. It's a penthouse top. Checked the canvas and the "pop...

Re: Question about Sportsmobile Shopping

I bought it :)

Struggled internally with do I want to take this on and maybe I could get something better. But I realized that for that price I could spend some money on it and still have it be...

Re: 1991 E250 needing a few small changes

1) Pergo may work. I think I'm just intimidated by the pulling out the cabinets/working around the pipes and such. If I were to hire someone to remove the cabinets/pull out the carpet/prep and then...
