Re: Custom holding tanks?
Thanks! Got a few quotes from the places mentioned - custom is expensive :) Although I'm sure everyone here already knew that! For tanks, it's about 2.5x the cost of a rectangular one, and that's...

Re: Custom holding tanks?
Thanks for the leads. I can't fit a standard rectangular tank into the space, but some of these crazy ones at the sites you've shared might work - thanks for the leads! I'll check out TAP as well;...

Custom holding tanks?
Hello,
Does anyone know of a good place to have a custom plastic holding tank built? Extra points if it's Seattle-area, but anywhere will do.
Thanks!
Mike.

Re: Spincasting rod/reel suggestion, please
Thanks for all this info - I have a lot to learn! I went with the little spincasting reel I mentioned in an earlier post (before you posted about the closed-face reels, Greggd!) and I think (hope!)...

Espar heater reset near Seattle?
Hello,
The Espar Airtronic on my non-SMB has, I think, locked out due to too many unsuccessful start attempts. I'm pretty sure I've found/fixed the problem thanks to help from Greg at Lubrication...

Re: Spincasting rod/reel suggestion, please
Thank you! This is fun - there's a ton to learn! Line tamer?! Who would have known :)
I think I have enough info now to peruse basspro.com and find a good combo. I'll visit my local sporting store...

Re: Spincasting rod/reel suggestion, please
Thanks Dave! Good info, and I especially like the suggestion of a rubber weight for practice... I never would have thought of that. Ditto on the eye protection. I do plan on using barbless hooks.

Re: Spincasting rod/reel suggestion, please
Thanks Will! I'll check out the website you mentioned - though at first glimpse it's a bit overwhelming.
My budget is <$100 per rod+reel, if that's reasonable. I'd love to buy something made in...

Spincasting rod/reel suggestion, please
I know that there are a lot of keen fisherfolk on this list - perhaps you could help me to pick out a good spincasting rod/reel combo, please? My boys (4 years old and 6) are super keen on learning...

Re: Making Espar-go
Hi Zeta - do you recall the diameter of the fuel line at the fuel pump? I'd like to pick up these same parts (primer bulb, fuel filter / check valve) - the Espar manual says it uses 2mm fuel lines,...

Re: Questions about what van to get
I'm going to disagree - I LOVE having cabinets and would never do without them. I can keep everything packed and ready to go in the various drawers and cupboards, find things easily, keep the van...

Re: Making Espar-go
Great info, thanks for posting it. I'll copy your check valve idea when my Espar comes back from service. Maybe it was just fuel starvation this whole time!
Cheers,
Mike.
