Uh.... The GM vans are also C-channel ladder frames. Only the front section is boxed (so it the E-series). But the GM frame is less than half as strong. That's why all serious 4x4 conversion are on...

Not sure why GM vans are being overlooked in favor of those beauties. I have driven both the E series and a GM and in my opinion the E series C frame is not optimal for this application (heavy 4x4),...
