Correct, the unit is dual voltage compressor type. So to update, I did find a problem with the 12v connections (loose) so now have solid power connections to battery and also to 120 v when plugged...

My van fridge is about 1.5 years old and was installed by SMB west. The unit is the Norcold 12v/120v 2.5 CF model NR751BB.

It worked fine for about 6 months in both hot and cool...
