From my recollection, there is a circuit from the aux battery to power a trailer even when the ignition is off. And the aux battery is disconnected when the engine is off. The relay and fuse are...

I did a little more research and it appears that the relay, wiring, and fuse are rated 40A (continuous). That should be more than adequate to run the house system. The only problem is the Group 65...

I don't have the trailer wiring, but can test it at the batteries. It sounds like the system is designed to allow discharging the aux battery alone. If this is true, the factory relay and wiring...

I just found out that my 2009 E250 5.4L has an aux battery mounted on the frame rail under the side door. In the owner's manual it states that the aux battery (if equipped) is NOT used for starting...
