I tried to get more information out of them, but couldn't at the time. I discussed this with John at Quadvan and he suspected that the tow truck driver may have forgotten to release the emergency...

My back was turned at the time and I only heard it happen. The driver said that the back end of the bed was only about 8 inches off the ground and that the van didn't move at all when it came down....

Luckily, we don't gamble, unless you count driving down unfamiliar dirt roads, in which case I think my luck ran out already.
