I was super interested on that, but we have the electric AMP Step. I wouldn't even know how to mount it on a retractable step like that. Any ideas??? :b1:

But for a specialize Rig that was less than 1 year old, everything should be bolted on tight, maybe? (And I was very diligent on maintaining the bolts...

The rubber "nut" (sorry, don't know the proper term) is suppose to expand while tightening the bolt, I'm guess to hold the awning mount in place. I don't want to make any false assumptions, but...
