A FWIW warning.
Don't leave the Trasheroo out in the sun other than the trips. I don't leave mine out at all except for on trips (mostly to the desert) but the sun still has disintegrated my straps...

Hi Chris
The trail is listed in Massey/Wilson Backcountry adventures (SoCal) Desert trail #37.
They list it as 13.9 miles with a travel time of 2-hours.
It ends right at the turn-off to Goler...

Fuel up in Ridgecrest. I dont remember any services in Trona. Gas Buddy doesn't show any listing either.

Count us (Dina and me) in. Depending on how many show up, there isn't a lot of room to park many rigs at the Geologist cabin. If I remember correctly, I think there is more room at the other two...

I'm a HAM not a CB'r but I do have an antenna analyzer that will work on the CB frequencies to adjust your SWR. PM me sometime for a meet. (If you force me I guess I can bring out my CB.)
