Back on track, here are a couple of images from the area or a bit more south. The last one is actually from Anza Borrego, closer to San Diego. I do need to get out there more and shoot some grander...

I love the Mojave Desert. I explore, camp and photograph there all the time. I support organizations and efforts to preserve and maintain it for our pleasure, and for the habitat of native plants...

Opinions differ greatly on hunting.

They sure do!

As for the "poisonous bullets" not all bullets are made with lead projectiles.

That's correct, but most are.

Brass? That's not the worst problem. The lead is. It poisons the ground, groundwater, fauna and flora.

While it is sadly still legal to hunt, it is disgusting to hear that. You also need to read this about plinking:
