I highly recommend the wheel lift accessory. I wouldn't think of trying to lift my 5 ton monster with a bumper jack. The wheel lift does require you to carry a jack stand and to use the jack both...

I also carry a 48" HiLift on the front bumper and have the wheel lifting hooks accessory and large plastic base. I also carry jack stands and a 6 ton bottle jack.
