Looking at my Ford service manuals, they suggest that the oil and EGR cooler replacements are considered "in vehicle" repairs. Is that how you plan to do it?

Are you replacing the oil cooler? May be a good time. They say the Egr coolers go bad because the oil cooler gets plugged, restricting flow to them.

I wonder about air-air oil coolers in our rigs. Driving slowly off-road doesn't afford much air flow through the cooler, and there is a radiator, intercooler and condensor between the cooler and the...
