X-Caliber tuner showed up today. Just uninstalled the IPad tuner version and Installed the new one.

It's a shame the IPad version was not reliable. The screen and info available to see was great...

Sending my IPAD version of the 5 Star system back to exchange for another version of some kind. The tuner part works great but the connection to the iPad/phone is so hit an miss it's not worth...

Loren, at one time or another I have had those errors but don't remember what I did to clear or make them work.

The system worked great yesterday for my trip yesterday from San Diego to the River...

Still having connection issues with the IPAD and the tuner module. When it works it's great but it seems 50% of the time it will not connect.

Not sure this is version is going to work out. ...

Emailed Mike at 5 Star early am today about issues. He stated I should contact SCT. On hold for 25 minutes and then left message. No return call today. I'll give Mike a call again in the morning...

I downloaded their app from the Apple store as directed in their directions. Looks like it's proprietary and created for this version of tuner.

The iPad won't connect to the tuner at all right...

Spent 45 minutes this am trying to connect the IPad to the tuner without luck. The tune is still there but not able to connect anymore or...

Just got up to Big Bear which is a three hour or so freeway drive from San Diego with an hour of it Climbing the mountain.

I was able to setup up everthing fairly easy. ...

The misses is driving right now so I can play with the tuner. Working good so far. To much traffic right now to feel power difference yet. Mountains coming up though. I do feel the shift points...

Info you don't have a certain code for them to flash your unit before shipping it can be done onsite. I installed the unit last night to read some codes and sent it to them this am. They emailed...

Ordered the 5 Star tuner with IPad/Phone connection today. Should have it on Thursday before my trip to Big Bear. I'll report back with results.
