What do you think the sweet spot is for the 5.4? Seems to me like something above 2100 and below 2500. Is that your experience? I know it really comes alive at 3500 but you can't drive there all day...

I think people are scared of revving these gassers. As if technology hasn't changed with them as with everything else. Somewhere between 2500 & 4500 RPM is where they need to run if you want to see...

FWIW: Stock E350, 5.4L, 4R75 trans (.71 OD), 3.73 rears, 265/75R16 all terrains.

I just came back from a 600 mile trip, pulling a pop up trailer. Total weight was 10,500#. The 5.4 L did just great...
