Right on Louie. They offer a model that drops right in and uses your open diff. Looks like the most cost effective solution for you. Cool video of that old F100 as well!

Advance Trac is Ford's traction control. It works off the ABS sensors and cuts the throdle during spinning wheel situations. One can manually override it under 25 (?) MPH.

Instant death is just slightly overstating my point. I asked a similar question over at ExPo and all agreed that living where icy roads are a real possibility and a Detroit Locker were not a good...

I've asked several places about a Detroit Locker and without fail was advised against it due to the vehicle spending so much time on pavement. Basically I was told that if the Oversteer it causes on...

If the stock LS works, as it apparently does, just leave it until such a time that it doesn't anymore. By the time you wear it out you will know if you want
4WD. I went with a LS on my 2WD and...
