I'd quick estimate the height at 9' and 12' in center. There's a few ways you could extend this if needed.

I love mine. Found on Craigslist for $100. It really keeps the van cool here in Phoenix. Our monsoons will launch these into the air, so I have since secured it down pretty tight. Beware: HOA's...
