Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Well that picture shoots down one of my pipe dreams. So would it be correct to say that the cab forward to the headlight holders is, in effect, structurally a unibody? Such that my dream of putting...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Now you've really got my interest. I want an electric shift NP 273 Transfer Case in my van to eliminate any stress put on the BW 1356 manual linkage which I have now and which crapped out every 2...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Dude!!! That CANtriple device is maybe what I was daydreaming about this morning after posting in this thread.

That instead of looking up what each pinout is doing in some book and what the...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Are you using the PCM from the Dodge? If so, how many pinouts does it have?

I counted the pins on a 7.3L PSD PCM. There are only 112.

Are the Dodge PCM pinouts equally divided between...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

This will probably take another thread, but if you have the time and the interest, would you explain (or provide some links) so I can follow your thought process of why of the diesels out there you...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

carringb: Cool! So there will be transmission swap options for us to consider when we eventually blow up our 4R100s? I know you have a V10 which I assume is CAN-bus. But the 7.3LPSD is not...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

Semi-OT, but right up your alley. So, my hobby these days is reading about the Ford 7.3L PSD and daydreaming about when I will have the money (and time) and the knowledge to fix mine.

But I have...

Re: 6.7L Cummins conversion project

OK a really narrow question would be this:

Us 7.3L guys are interested in adding analog EGT and Fuel Pressure sensors to Torque Pro. EGT and Fuel Pressure are not measured anywhere in the PCM on...
