buckkiller, am I seeing it wrong? Is there a 3/4" long item stuck in top of the piston like an arrow?

I do find it interesting that the piston tops are flat? 7.3L diesels have a toroidal...

What is that?

I don't know what injector nozzles look like on a V-10.
