Incidentially it takes about an hour for two guys to unwind a 100' winch cable from the drum if the winch is loose, but the freewheel selector is frozen, and the spool won't turn. :a7:

I must be thinking of another manufacturer which has "feet" in both positions, it's been awhile since I was comparing 15K winches.

I think the issue was partially the 70-lb L plate and partially...

You have to mount an M15000 feet first (actually I think there are feet on the face) but it's not exactly a bolt in. Jeff (MyriadMyriad) managed to get one in with a plate to mount the front feet,...

Anything that doesn't stick up over the bumper should fit the 08 bumper. The grille is supposed to overhang the winch area enough to interfere with the PowerPlant... Of course I don't have an 08...

Unfortunatly that is no longer completely true as the PowerPlant does not fit the Aluminess bumper in 08+ vans.

I have a 12K milemarker in my Jeep, slow but useful, and used to run a Warn HS9500...
