Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

I've barely made a dent in my stack and have been using them on all 3 vehicles religiously!

Thanks though.

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

BBB was the 2nd or 3rd thing I did. FMCSA provides for local filing of a lawsuit.

Also, Herb, as a side note I took the van in for tire inspection and rotation today and realized for the first...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

Final answer from McNutt Auto Transport: We're not going to charge you, that's all we can do.

The problem is the guy who ultimately drove my van still will not admit to doing so, despite all...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

Haven't moved the van since the day it was delivered and that was just up the driveway and into the tent. I am waiting on a response from McNutt, and while the driver still swears he didn't drive it...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

SMB noted 69,110 on their internal work order, and McNutt has documentation from the original shipper that it was dropped with 69,109. Since it was picked up with 69,108 from me, that's all kosher....

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

SMB West confirms that there was a truck there at the time of collection, however they did not observe it being loaded. They also provided me with an unaltered copy of the Bic Auto Transport...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

The guy called this morning and said he'd blown a trailer tire in Highlands Ranch (about 45 minutes from here) and would I mind if he drove it the rest of the way? I said "NO WAY", I'll come and get...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

After much more difficulty finding a carrier to take it, we were told it was "On the trailer already" on Wednesday 12/15 and would be here this weekend. Well it is Sunday night and no word and no...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

OK, so the work on the top was done by the 29th of November, but I'd scheduled return shipping with McNutt for the 3rd of December and was waiting to get the van back to give an update.

McNutt was...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

McNutt was the best*** out of everybody I talked too, and although the woman I worked with originally is no longer there, I called about 3 PM today and the van is already on the road. The timing...

Re: Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

The last time we went through this SMB claimed they don't ship, but have a driver. Since I'm abutting my warranty coverage those couple thousand miles mean something, plus handing over my keys to...

Transporting a Sportsmobile to Fresno and Back (Denver)

So I'm looking at a round trip to Fresno, with a 30-45 day layover for the van.

I know this has been discussed, but I can't seem to find it: I need to ship the van to Fresno and have them pick it...
