If the base is bigger and the cables cannot be moved? Seems like the fuse box would be more of a problem than anything, not something you can really extend.

There is a sticker in my van somewhere that says not to drive with them in any way but forward- obviously don't want the airbag hitting you in the side, and seatbelt is not designed for backwards,...
