Up in the PNW here we have some very steep narrow trails and switchbacks, and the wheelbase can be an issue, but that's the same on RB vs EB....

I've ben towing since 2003 with EBs and no issues. (18" car trailer+car, box trailer etc)

I haven't been in a many situations where I scraped the rear end on the EB. Nice to have the extra space. Consider also if you're getting a van with a Penthouse roof it is longer too.
