I agree with you providing a good flush of the block was done in conjunction with the EGR delete and new oil cooler. Otherwise, the OEM oil cooler is going to clog again. What EGR delete kit did...

At 65mph or so or 2000 RPM. The transients result from the coolant temp decreasing much more rapidly upon cresting a hill than the oil temp. More info here: https://www.powerstroke.org/forum/genera...

I'm not sure if you are referring to the OP or me but I don't have the Amsoil system. I have, however, researched the 6.0 endlessly being my first diesel engine. And worried about being stranded...

The issue with the BPD external oil cooler kit for the van is the aftermarket bumpers that most of us have are in the way and block air flow. Without extensive modification it may not fit. Tough to...
