Nobody in my little hamlet is approved for dot brake lines; they have to be sourced from elsewhere with 2 or 3 day turn around. Not that big a deal but I don't want to lock up the lift in my local...

For those of you that have upgraded to stainless lines did you do a 5 line kit? On my 2005 E350 it appears there is a 16" line from the frame that ends at the splitter that feeds the two lines on...

yikes, cross-drilled rotors bad. But what I was after by resurrecting this thread was soliciting experiences with replacing the brake lines with stainless.

Resurrecting this thread from the past. Does anyone have any experience replacing the brake lines with stainless? Ujoint offers a kit but it's not plug and play since it's designed for his system...
