thanks....it does have that 'always hot' line. I think i'll just check the current draw on both the switched and the 'always hot' because maybe the only thing i really need is a 3-way rocker...

thanks all. my new question has to do with 'modern stereos', like one that takes a backup camera. It seems that when all power to the unit is cutoff and then turned on, it goes back to the original...

DOes the "radio switch" allow you to choose between house battery power and van-battery? Do you need the key turned to tell the stereo to activate? thanks
