With the box on top, my van is pretty tall and I had no concerns. If you have one of the really tall fixed tops (aka, Bill Wilson), it may be a bit tight?

Truly one of my favorite trails. I think I did it for the first time in the 70's with my family (Before Telluride was "discovered" and the tour companies showed up). The scenery...
