I got the Echlin turn signal combo switch this afternoon and installed it a few minutes ago. A very easy install, and solved all my turn signal/hazard light issues.

Just ordered the Echlin part from Napa: ECH DL6170 for my 1998 E250. Hopefully this should solve the problem.

@carringb, Thanks for the hint on the Napa part for the switch. I was just going to order a Ford one to replace mine.

The flasher is such a cheap thing to try, that I would definitely give that a shot. Like $12 or thereabouts. At least you can rule that out, then, if the problem persists.

What year is your van?

Please clarify: is it just your turn signals/hazards that don't work, or the headlights, too? If just the turn signals, have you replaced the flasher? I'd start there. I think newer E-vans have...
