I would personaly relocate the shock because it will allow you to replace shocks in the future without having to do any change. But I would weld a washer as Ramsey does.

Since VivaLaVida have two shocks in each corner, had to relocate one on the left rear end when installing the Transflow tank. Just relocated a shock bracket by welding a new one and it now clears the...
