It is 100 degrees in the valley, but I refuse to go. Here in the mountains it is 81 degrees and 30% humidity, not miserable, but worth a little cooling.

No, not even warm yet. It got over 70 in Reno today, but I live in Tahoe.

The MW 2 was probably overkill. I always wear the special suit. It has an opening in the front of the pants and an open collar, the two places I sweat the most. :a1:

If you have a failure drop me a note and maybe we can make one out of both of ours. My catastrophic failure was simply the plastic fan housing. Everything under my van is rust free and looks new.

But a swamp cooler will never totally replace an air-conditioner. It works best in dry heat, where I live, and is very localized. It is not the sort of thing that will cool down the...
