I am going to angle them up a bit, nobody is flashing me so maybe they can go up more... I'll keep tilting them up slowly until folks...

Yup. I soaked my only slightly rusty junkyard ones in WD40 overnight, then slathered the threads with anti-seize. Should be good now (after all the originals lasted for 15 years).

Will do, once I get the other one in and get someplace dark (hopefully this weekend).

I can say the low beam has a very distinct cut off on the high side, which is good so I don't blind people.
