As well as watching not to run the turbo too hot, letting it cool down before shutdown, limit short runs and long idle time just after startup, using fuel additives, keeping the oil as clean as...

Well I discussed with going to a different coolant with both shops who do work on my engine and both suggest sticking with the Ford coolant mix. I know a lot go to cat stuff and what not but to tell...

That was right on par with my engine before I added the louvers. These were temps off the scan gauge. I don't know why but the scan gauge seems to hold the temp longer and not react to quicker...

But I thought there was an issue of hot air being sucked in by the A/C. Not sure what effect that has on the A/C's temp but I'd want to make sure it's not compromised.

Actually it's Tapatio that installed a stock Ford lower directional air dam. I think that louvers help allow more air flow to be pulled through the radiator. It also seems like with a better exhaust...

Yeah it was hard punching holes in a perfectly good fiberglass hood :b7: I started smaller than most members have for fear of structural issues down the road and used a circular saw that put a couple...

I also had a vac pump fail but I don't consider that an 6.0 issue. Prior to using a fuel additive I lost an injector and had EGR issues. I'm also using Hot Shot from time to time in the fuel and oil....

I agree there. I've always had the AMSOIL system but replace it all every 7K. MFG recommendation just better filtration.
